Aylard Farm Elopement in East Sooke Provincial Park

This couple threw out the rule book and got married in hiking clothes. This felt more like them, and they went for it. We started at a cozy Airbnb property at a small lake. They got ready, then we headed for the trails. It was the perfect little BC coastal elopement.

Aylard Farm is tucked inside East Sooke Provincial Park, a dream spot for couples who want to elope somewhere private, wild, and beautiful. It is easily accessible, and we found parking okay.

 

 

 

The weather was looking gloomy, but it started to change as soon as we got to the park. As a Vancouver Island elopement photographer, I love being a part of these intimate weddings with couples who love the outdoors.  Aylard Farm is a blend of trails, an open hilly field, and occasional ocean view spots. It was busy and not entirely private because we did see people along the way wherever we went. There is a nice parking area with bathrooms and we found parking no problem.

East Sooke Provincial Park Elopements are always the best ones.
